解析：
have words with或exchange words with，为互相争论或者口角之意。上面那句话也可以换成They had words together.英文的words，常有吵嘴的意思，如proceed from words to blows.(由争论而至打斗）

He told me that he had had words with the manager and had lost hisposition.

解析：
stay with=stay at one’s home，用with时后接“人物”，用in时后接“地方”，用at时后接“房屋”。

他讲表托我保管✔
解析：
“leave+宾语+介词+人”意为“讲某物（事）托付某人”。
Jim left his frog with the stranger and go out to find a frog for the stranger.
听了这话，吉姆就把自己的青蛙交给陌生人看管，出去为陌生人找一只蛙来。
4、Men of millions are possessed with the idea.
几百万人都具有这种思想✘
百万富翁都具有这种想法✔
解析：
Men of millions是百万富翁的意思，millions of men才是几百万人。
There are many men of millions in the city.
这个城市有许多百万富翁。
