Slow 慢

之於木心，相見恨晚。他，可以說是我們近代文學史上一個邊緣性的人物。明明和魯迅，和沈從文，和冰心，和錢鍾書是同一個時代的人，可他卻邊緣化到我們這一代人從未在課文裡窺見他的任何行蹤。很多人熟悉魯迅，熟悉李大釗，熟悉冰心，卻不一定了解木心。他真的太邊界，太出離了，簡直就是跳出三界外，不在五行中，活脫脫一個有本事的孫悟空。正是這樣的一個人，在相識時，給了我莫大的驚喜。他是一個詩人，亦是一個藝術家，身上充滿了靈性和詩性，隨手沾來的一句話，便能觸動人的靈魂。他說：“歲月不饒人，我亦未曾繞過歲月。”他說：“萬頭攢動火樹銀花之處不必找我。如欲相見，我在各種悲喜交集處，能做的只是長途跋涉的歸真返璞。”他說：“心之所向，素履可往。”他說：“從前的日色變得慢，車、馬、郵件都慢，一生只夠愛一個人。"

清早上火車站

長街黑暗無行人

賣豆漿的小店冒著熱氣

The train station in wee hours,

was never so crowded.

In sight was just swirling steam of breakfast.

從前的日色變得慢

車，馬，郵件都慢

一生只夠愛一個人

Day hours used to be so slow,

So was the car, the horse, the mail.

All your life time was just enough to spend with the only one you loved.

從前的鎖也好看

鑰匙精美有樣子

你鎖了，人家就懂了

Locks used to have good looks

their keys were exquisite, too.

If you lock one up,

others will get it.
