Hello ,everyone ,I want to talk about a small topic today .
Have you ever encountered such a situation ?You have learned all the basic stuff ,such as the grammar ,the basic vocabulary ,sentence structure ,and so on .But you might be wondering ,why is my spoken English not getting fluent ?Or why I am not able to speak fluent English ?
That’s what I want to talk about in today’s text .
Firstly ,let’s first understand the difference between a fluent English speaker and an average English speaker .I’m not sure you have met or watched many fluent English speakers and you’re just amazed on how fluent they are in the English language .Like they’re absolutely amazing or sometimes like I wish I could speak like them .Then the question pops up in your mind ,I never be able to speak English like them .Have you ever noticed why are they able to speak so good English or others speak so fluently ?
How do I manage ?Now let me tell you something .
So how many English words do you know and how you use them in your English conversation ?Maybe around five hundred to one thousand words .And then you make sentences around these limited five hundred to one thousand words .But if you notice a fluent English speaker ,they at least know minimum of three thousand English words ,which they are able to use in their English conversation ,and which actually makes them really fluent .
Now let’s come back to the big question .How do I improve my English fluency ?Now ,if you want to make your English fluent ,you need to make your vocabulary bank of spoken English richer .
And then ,how do you do to make your vocabulary bank of spoken English richer ?That’s exactly what I want to talk about in this text .
Now you need to understand when you are speaking ,your mind starts searching for English words .And when you don’t get the right words ,you will get stuck with forming sentences in your English conversation .Although all the grammar you know ,but you still get stuck .
So now I will tell you how to learn new English words and the right way to practice your spoken English .Now let me share the experience of one of my friends with you .When he was a college student ,he came to England for his studies .And when he got there ,he met all his classmates and friends .There were so many English words that they would say .And he had no idea about it ,he didn’t know what his friend’s speaking ,he had never even heard them before .So he was sort of lost .It was pretty frustrating for him .What did he do ?He got a small trick .What he started doing well ,he started to write down at least ten English words that he had never heard before .These words came from his everyday conversations or from his university courses .He made sure that he understand the correct pronunciation of those words and use them at least once in his conversation with his roommates or with people all around him .And that had really helped him slowly and gradually his vocabulary bank started to become richer .And he had learned and knew and sued so many new words within a period of three months .He almost learned over five thousand new English words in a very short time .
Isn’t that amazing ?Fortunately ,he had his roommates and friends with whom he could practiced with .So that was the exactly small trick that he did .
And now I commend that way to you to follow the trick that he did ,at least for a month .You need to draw down over ten words every day ,understand their pronunciation ,and use them in your English conversation .So go and get it .
