英語原版閱讀：與一般過去時相關的閱讀

今天分享一篇閱讀。可以在學會一般過去時後進行拓展閱讀，也可以作為日常的閱讀材料。

這篇文章裡面有一些空格，要求用括號中所給單詞的過去式的適當形式填空。

Harry and I washed Dad's car. Well, I started to wash it, but Harry didn't want to finish it, so we watched a film, but we didn't like it much.

Monday 12th May

At school today, we watched a film about ancient Egypt. When it finished, we listened to our teacher.It was really interesting! The ancient Egyptians lived a long time ago. Everybody in the class worked very hard, and I loved the lesson. After school, I played tennis with my friends. At home Mum cooked my dinner. I wanted to stay up late but Mum said I had to go to bed early. I hated that!
