1. 表示“評價、評論”意義的必備句型
(1) What do you think of…?/How do you like…? 表示“你認為……怎麼樣？”
eg. What do you think of the movie?=How do you like the movie?
(2) What is sb. like?/What do/does sb. look like? 表示“某人長得/品質怎麼樣？”
eg. What is she like?=What does she look like?
(3) What/How about (doing) sth.?表示“（做）某事如何/怎麼樣？”
eg. What/How about going shopping tonight?
(4) How+be+sb./sth.?/What+be+ … like?表示“……怎麼樣？”
eg. How was the weather yesterday?=What was the weather like yesterday?
2. 表示“一……就……”的必備句型
(1) as soon as/immediately/the moment/the minute
eg. Fortunately, someone who happened to be passing by called the fire department as soon as/immediately/the moment/the minute the fire broke out.
(2) hardly/scarcely… when引導時間狀語從句
eg. Hardly/Scarcely had he got to the office when the mobile phone rang.
(3) no sooner… than引導時間狀語從句
eg. He had no sooner got to the lab than he sent out to do the experiment.
3. 強調句型：It is/was+ 被強調部分+who/that+其他部分
eg. It was what the headmaster said at the meeting that really surprised us.
4. 表示“花費（時間/金錢）做某事”的四個必備句型
(1) It takes/took sb. some time to do sth.表示“做某事花費某人多少時間”。
eg. It took him three hours to go back home on foot.
(2) sb. spend(s)/spent some time/money on sth./(in) doing sth.表示“某人花費多少時間或金錢在某事上或做某事”。
eg. I spent two hours (in) finishing my homework.
(3) sth. cost(s) sb. some money表示“某物花費某人多少錢”。
eg. A new dress cost her over four hundred francs.
(4) sb. pay(s)/paid some money to sb. for sth.表示“某人付給某人多少錢買了什麼東西”。
eg. The boy paid the old man 260 yuan for the new bike.
5. 表示“倍數”（A是B的多少倍）關係的必備句型
(1) A+be/謂語動詞+倍數+times+比較級+than+B
eg. The train runs six times faster than the boat.
(2) A+be/謂語動詞+倍數+times+as+原級+as+B
eg. This garden is ten times as large as that one.
(3) A+be/謂語動詞+倍數+times+the size(height, length…)+of+B
eg. Their newly-built school is almost twice /three times the size of ours which was built ten years ago.
