定冠詞the的用法
the： 用於特指人或事物。

1. Where are ____ new books? They are in your bag.
2. ___ Earth is our home.
3. He is ___ tallest boy in our class.

定冠詞the用法口訣：
口訣指導一：特指都知道，第二次提到。
Where is the red ball? 紅色的球在哪兒？特指”紅色的球“。
It’s under the bed.
I find a cat behind my house. The cat is small and lovely. 這裡的貓是第二次提到，所以用了定冠詞the。
口訣指導二：世上唯一有，專有普通構。
The moon is high in the sky.
Let’s go and see the Great Wall.
這兩個句子中的月亮和長城都是屬於唯一和專有的名詞。
口訣指導三：序數最高級，習語及樂器。
He is reading on the second floor. second 在這裡屬於序數詞，他正在二樓看書。
Let’s enjoy the third picture. 讓我們來欣賞第三幅畫。
He is the tallest boy in his class. 這個男孩是班上最高的。the用在最高級前面。
拓展：哪些詞前不加定冠詞the 呢？
1、由拼音開頭的專有名詞：
Wangfujing Street 王府井大街
Tian’anmen Square 天安門廣場
Beijing Roast Duck 北京烤鴨
2. 月份、星期、季節前：
He was born in July. 他出生在七月份。
I often play football on Saturday. 我經常在星期六踢足球。
It is warm in spring. 春天很溫暖。
3. 除中國傳統節日外的其他節日。
中國傳統節日，就是中國所特有的節日，例如：
the Spring Festival 春節
the Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋節
the Double Ninth Festival 重陽節
而其他節日是指： Christmas, Mother’s Day, Teachers’ Day
4.名詞前有物主代詞my, your, his, its, her, our, their 或所有格’s時，也不用定冠詞。
Please give me the book. 特指，需要用the，指的就是彼此面前的那本書。
Please give me my book. book前面有物主代詞my，所以不用the。
5. 名詞前有指示代詞this，that, these, those時。
Do you want to eat the cake?
Do you want to eat this cake?
6. 名詞前有不定冠詞a/an時。
There is a bottle on the table. 桌子上有一隻瓶子。
