I first went to hear a live rock concert when I was eight years old. My brother and his friends were all 36 of a heavy metal group called Black Wednesday. When they 37 that Black Wednesday were going to perform at our local theatre, they all bought 38 for performance. However, at the last minute, one of the friends couldn’t go, so my brother 39 me the ticket. I was really 40 ！
I remember the buzz (嘈杂声) of excitement inside the theatre as we all found our 41 . After a few minutes, the lights went down and everybody became 42 . I could barely make out the stage in the 43 . We waited. Then there was a roar from the crowd, like an explosion, as the first members of the band 44 the stage. My brother leaned over and shouted something in my ear, but I couldn’t 45 what he was saying. The first song was already starting and the music was as 46 a jet engine. 我8岁那年首次听了一场摇滚音乐会。我的哥哥和他的朋友都是一个叫做“ Black Wednesday”的“重金属乐队”的粉丝。当他们知道 Black Wednesday将要在我们本地演出时，他们都买了这场表演的票。然而，到最后一刻的时候，一个朋友不能去了，所以我的哥哥把票给我了。我很兴奋！当我们找我们的位置时，我听见剧院里满是兴奋的叫喊声。过了几分钟，灯光熄灭了，人们安静下来。我只能在黑暗中些微地辨别出舞台的位置。我的哥哥靠过来，在我的耳边说了些什么，但我不能听清他到底说了什么。第一首歌几乎就要开始了，音乐也响起来，那声音就像喷气发动机那样响亮。我能感觉到鼓的敲击和贝司音乐带给我身体上的震撼。
我想不起来乐队演奏的任何歌曲（即我已经沉浸于现在的乐曲中）。我只记得我真的很享受这场表演，不希望它终止。但是最后，三场加演后，表演结束了。我们离开剧院，跌跌撞撞地走到路上。我感觉有点晕眩，就像刚从很长的梦境中醒过来。我的耳朵里还有最后那支歌的回响。
那次演唱会过后，我也成为了一个Black Wednesday 的粉丝，持续了几年，直到我迷上了另一种音乐。时不时地，我还会听他们的一首歌，我想象我又回到那第一场演唱会。
