今天分享的是世界绘本大师卡尔爷爷的作品，名字叫《Do you want to be my friend？》，一只寂寞的小老鼠热切的想找一个朋友，他追寻不同动物的尾巴，却遭遇连番挫折，每每被尾巴的拥有者吓得跳起来！勇敢的小老鼠最后找到了一个最棒的朋友！
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the brown horse, eating the grass.
“不想。” 棕色的马说，他正在吃草。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the crocodile with the bird on her back.
“不想。”鳄鱼说，她的背上正站着一只鸟。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the lion with the golden mane.
“不想。”狮子说，他的鬃毛是金黄色的。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the hippopotamus with the great wide mouth.
“不想。”河马说，他长着一张很大很大的嘴。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the seal with whiskers on his face.
“不想。”海豹说，他的脸上长着胡须。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the monkey who walked with his hands.
“不想。”猴子说，他正在用手走路。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the peacock with a crown on his head.
“不想。”孔雀说，他的头上戴着一顶王冠。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the fox with the red, red fur.
“不想。”狐狸说，他身上长着红红的毛。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the kangaroo with the baby in her pouch.
“不想。”袋鼠说，它的育儿袋里装着它的宝宝。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"No." said the giraffe with the long, long neck.
“不想。”长颈鹿说，他的脖子真的好长好长啊。
So the mouse ran on.
于是，小老鼠继续往前跑。
"Do you want to be my friend?"
“你想跟我做朋友吗？”小老鼠问。
"Yes." said a mouse with a small gray tail. "I will be your friend."
“是的。”一只长着灰色尾巴的小老鼠说，“我想跟你做朋友。”
And the two ran off to a big tree, and just in time.
于是，他们就一起跑到一棵大树下面去了。
跑得刚刚好，他们差点儿就被绿色的大蟒蛇吃掉了。
