1. I should have let you rough him up.
我早該讓你對他動粗
rough作為形容詞時表示“粗糙的，粗略的，大概的”，也可作為動詞指“使粗糙；毆打”。
rough sb. up指“攻擊;毆打;對…動粗”
英文解釋：If someone roughs you up, they attack you and hit or beat you.
They threw him in a cell and roughed him up a bit.
他們把他扔進牢房，揍了他幾下。
2. Tell him you lost the tail.
告訴他你跟丟了。
在犯罪類和警匪類美劇中，會經常出現tail這個單詞。它基本意思是“尾巴”，在這兒用於比喻“尾隨的人，跟蹤者”。
put a tail on sb. 派人跟蹤某人
She can not figure out who put a tail on her.
她不知道誰派人跟蹤她。
也可作為動詞表示“尾隨，跟蹤”，指跟蹤的人像尾巴一樣緊緊地尾隨著目標。
I have notified them to watch and tail him.
我已通知了他們監視跟蹤他了。
3. It's an olive branch.
我是在向你伸出橄欖枝
橄欖枝象徵和平， offer / extend / hold out / the olive branch 表示“和平”
They were not prepared to hold out the olive branch to their enemies.
他們不準備向敵人伸出橄欖枝。
