玩手機，我們一般會想到"play the phone".但是有比"play"更地道實用的表達,一起和老師學起來~
1.addict 的相關表達
I'm a smartphone addict.
我是經常玩手機。
Be addicted to.....“對...上癮”
Are you or your teen addicted to your cellphone?
你或你的孩子經常玩手機麼？
Phone addiction is a common thing these days.
手機上癮是現在很常見的一件事。
2. obsess 相關表達
be obsessed with sth “對...著迷”
We should not be obsessed with smartphone all day.
我們不能整天沉溺於手機。
3. Overuse
over 多加在動詞或名詞之前，構成包含“過度；過分”之意的新動詞或名詞:
overstudy n.用功過度(over+study學習)
overwork n.過度勞累(over+work工作)
overact v.表演過火(over+act演出)
Parents should help their kids to avoid overusing cell phone or social websites in general.
父母應該幫助孩子避免過度使用手機和一般社交網站。
4.spend time on/ doing sth... 花費時間在某事上
Nowadays, many people spend much time on smartphone.
現在許多人玩手機度日。
The average smartphone owner spends over two hours each day on the device.
人們每天會花超過2個小時玩手機。
5.其他的相關搭配
Do NOT check your phone more than once in a conversation – better yet, don't check it at all!
不要在談話過程中超過一次查看手機。最好的是，壓根就不要看手機！
You need toput the phone down even if it's just for an hour or an afternoon.
你需要放下手機即使是一小時或者一下午也好。
I often find myself telling my kids, 'Get off your phone!
