考研閱讀裡，出現過這樣一句話:
Its scientists were the world's best and its workers the most skilled.
它的科學家是世界上最優秀的，它的工人是最有技巧的。
大俠有沒有發現，這裡出現了二者並列。不過，等等，
後一個並列句，為什麼沒有動詞were呢? ? ?
這就是今天要說的重點：
為避免重複，並列結構中，共用的謂語動詞可省略。(即使主語不同)
建議多讀幾次例句，最好背住-個你喜歡的句子。讓這種現象在腦子裡生根，未來才能發芽。
