臨洮縣綠洲有機蔬菜種植專業合作社，於2011年5月成立，註冊資金1260萬元。2012年12月在國家商標局註冊“源泉綠洲”商標，園區種植的西葫蘆、茄子、辣椒、番茄四種蔬菜在2013年6月被中國綠色食品發展中心評定為綠色食品,2014年4月經北京五洲恆通認證有限公司認證、山東泗水五洲農產品檢測有限公司檢測，合作社種植的辣椒、西紅柿、茄子、黃瓜、西葫蘆、蘿蔔、長豇豆、甘藍、花菜、韭菜符合有機蔬菜標準，並頒發有機轉換產品認證證書。
2014年6月合作社與中國高科技產業化研究會簽訂合同，在園區建立“甘肅定西航天育種示範基地”以航空育種技術種植各類蔬菜。2014年5月份又經甘肅省農牧廳評定為省級農民專業合作社示範社，後又經全國農民合作社發展部際聯席會議審定為國家級農民合作社示範社。2014年8月定西市有機蔬菜工程技術研究中心在我社正式成立。2015年9月被甘肅省現代農業示範區建設管理領導小組辦公室評定為臨洮縣綠洲現代農業示範園，2016年8月通過ISO9001質量管理體系認證，已取得證書，2017年1月獲得有機認證證書。
合作社現有社員110人，從業人員200多人，技術人員11人，其中聘請北京中研益農苗科技有限公司博士1名，縣蔬菜辦高級農藝師1名，農藝師2名，農民技術員7名。與省農科院、甘肅農業大學、臨洮農校建立了長期穩定的合作關係。合作社有王家咀、邊家灣兩個日光溫室小區和塑料大棚種植區域，佔地500畝，其中日光溫室167座，佔地300多畝、塑料大棚72多座，佔地200多畝。有蔬菜貯藏冷庫3座（蔬菜基地兩座、配送中心一座），配送中心一處、蔬菜交易市場一處（內有6座100噸冷庫、3座交易大棚）,佔地15畝，蔬菜直銷店12處（臨洮紫竹苑、陽光家園、安興家苑、宏源小區、南苑小區、金澤小區等），蘭州市有7家銷售代理商。合作社年產鮮菜3200噸，產品通過當地蔬菜市場及阿里巴巴、淘寶網店銷往蘭州、四川、北京、上海、鄭州、青海等各大中小城市。
該合作社用環保酵素、沼渣、沼液、農家肥等有機肥料種植的富硒有機蔬菜經過山東五洲檢測有限公司檢測符合富硒蔬菜標準，因此可以讓消費者吃上“富硒綠色有機蔬菜”。通過引進新品種和先進生產技術的試驗、示範、推廣，取得了顯著的經濟效益和社會效益。
合作社按照“政府推動、科技示範、市場引導、企業帶動、群眾參與”的發展模式，以有機蔬菜種植、新品種和新技術的引進示範推廣為主，通過集中育苗、統一銷售，承包經營方式，輻射帶動周邊1500多戶農民發展設施農業，增加收入。
作為高檔觀賞花卉的牡丹，除了丹皮是著名的中藥材外。經過30多年培育的油料牡丹，結油量大，管護容易，操作便捷，是油料市場的新興產品。它的食用功能、美容、保健等作用，得到了專業研究機構和廣大消費者的認可，油用牡丹需求增大，市場供不應求，價格持續上漲，近年來，我合作社致力於油用牡丹產業。現種植油用牡丹苗200萬株，預期可給合作社帶來很大的經濟收入。
