假期期間，各位小可愛們在回家或者出去玩耍過馬路的時候千萬要注意安全。紅燈停，綠燈行。在走路的時候不要玩手機。
今天和大白學習一下有關過馬路的英語表達吧~
生活在國外的人應該都知道交通信號燈叫“Traffic Light”或是“Traffic Signal”。

The red traffic light indicates that every person and vehicle must stop.
紅色信號燈表示人和車輛不能通行。
green light
我們中文裡面會說“一路綠燈”
表示一帆風順
這個意思在英語裡同樣適用
give someone/something the green light
給某人某事許可
Only you believe, your green light is just around you.
只要相信，你的順境就在你的周圍。
我們知道紅燈是“Red Light”、綠燈是“Green Light”，那麼黃燈難道就是“Yellow Light”嗎？
其實Yellow Light這種說法也是可以的，只不過還有一個更加地道的表達....
那就是Amber，是“琥珀（色）”的意思，琥珀色和黃色很像。

破雲而出的陽光透過窗戶送來一束琥珀色的光線。

A flashing amber light means you may move forward with caution.
