天氣這個話題不僅雅思口語中的常考的話題，我也不知道為啥，外國人就特別喜歡用天氣來開啟話題。那除了good weather，bad weather，hot，cold，還有什麼形容天氣的詞能夠給你的口語加分，向考官展示你的英語能力呢？今天James給大家補充一些地道的形容天氣的詞彙，和與天氣相關的俚語，希望大家在考試中可以運用上，並且在以後國外的生活中也能偶爾丟出幾句裝個小X：
詞彙篇
Good Weather
替換good weather還可以說：
- pleasant weather
- favorable weather
- mild weather：形容不冷也不熱的天氣。
- balmy weather：形容溫暖的天氣。
Bad Weather
替換bad weather還可以說：
- lousy weather
- rotten weather
- adverse weather condition: 指會影響駕駛的天氣，如大雨、大雪、大霧等
* 以上三個詞彙表示壞的程度已經很大了，所以前面不加very.
Very Hot Weather
形容天氣尤其炎熱可以說：
- blazing
例子：I really can't stand the blazing heat at the peak of summer. 我實在受不了夏天的酷暑.
* at the peak of summer: 夏天最熱的時候
- scorching
例子：It's such a sorching day. 這個天也太熱了吧。
- muggy：形容悶熱的天氣，在外面走一下就出汗。
Very Cold Weather
形容天氣尤其寒冷還可以說：
- freezing
- chilly：注意chilly形容冷的程度沒有freezing高
- bitterly cold：
例子：It's bitterly cold out there, because it’s in the depth of winter. 這外面太冷了，因為現在正是冬天最冷的時候。
* in the depth of winter：在冬天最寒冷的時候，記得這裡不是at the peak of winter了哦！
- icy: 只有有霜有冰的情況下適用
例子：An icy blast of air hit me in the face. 冷空氣剛剛打了我的臉（這麼翻譯行嗎?)
俚語篇
Under the weather：身體不適
雅思口語造句：
“It's easy to get under the weather because of the recent changeable weather.” 因為最近天氣多變，所以身體容易不適。
影視場景例子：
- Raj：I didn't think I was going to get to see you until tomorrow. 我以為我明天才能見到你呢？
- Howard: Yeah, well, Bernadette's a little under the weather and my mom's kind of under my dentist. 嗯..Bernadette身體有點不舒服，然後我媽現在有點在我的牙醫下面（這裡是一個黃梗）

In all weathers : 任何天氣（情況）
雅思口語造句：
“I do exercise every day in all weathers.” 不管天氣如何，我每天都堅持鍛鍊。

- I collect specimens at all times and in all weathers Dr. Bell. 不管什麼時候，什麼天氣，我都堅持採樣

Rain or shine = In all weathers
雅思口語造句：
“My family always got my back, rain or shine.” 無論何時，我的家人都支持我。

Weather permitting/ If the weather permits：天氣允許的話
雅思口語造句：
- In most cases, I prefer outdoor activities if the weather permits. Otherwise, I'd rather stay indoors. 正常情況下，如果天氣允許，我選擇戶外運動。不行的話，我就呆在屋裡了。
影視場景例子：
- I want to take her on another ride. My wish is, if the weather permits, I wanna take her on Highway No.3 again.我想再帶她去兜兜風，如果天氣允許的話，想再帶她去3號公路上。

To weather the storm：渡過難關
雅思口語造句：
"She's an admirable leader as she can always figure out how to weather the storm." 她是個令人尊重的領袖，因為她總是可以想辦法渡過難過。
影視場景例子：

A fair-weather friend：酒肉朋友
雅思口語造句：

- Never realized how many fair-weather friends I had. Y'know, when I had my own parish, they were tripping over themselves to help me out. 從來沒有意識到我有這麼多酒肉朋友，你知道嗎？當我有自己的地盤的時候，他們都搶著來幫我。
* be tripping over to do sth = be hurrying do sth = 搶著做某事
