尽管听起来像只有在科幻小说、电影才会出现的东西,但近日《Advanced Functional Materials》期刊的论文来看,圣地亚哥加大(UCSD)工程团队正在努力让变焦隐形眼镜走入现实。

据了解,这种隐形眼镜创新的功能有两个部分:镜片及控制方式。新型镜片由多层弹性聚合物薄膜制成,施加电流时会更改结构,延展变薄或收缩变厚,这些改变让它的相对变焦效果达到 32%。

以目前来说,原型仅在特殊的环境状态进行测试,受试者眼睛周围皮肤还得放置一系列电极侦测,使用上看起来不太舒服,在实际应用以前,这些零件还得大幅缩小尺寸。
