①表示三者或三者以上的人或事物進行比較時用形容詞的最高級，它的結構一般是“the+形容詞最高級 +of/in…”,表示“在……中,最……”。
Spring is the best season of the year.春天是一年中最好的季節。
②.如果形容詞最高級前面有物主代詞或名詞所有格，不能再用定冠詞the。
It is my busiest day.這是我最忙的一天。
③使用形容詞最高級應注意的問題
a. 形容詞最高級前面如果有much等程度副詞修飾，這些程度副詞應放在冠詞the的前面。
She is much the best of all the students.她是所有學生裡最好的學生。
b. 形容詞最高級前面如果有序數詞修飾，序數詞應放在定冠詞之後。
Is Nanjing the second largest city in China?
c. 句型“one of the +形容詞最高級+名詞複數”表示“是最……之一”。
This flower is one of the most beautiful flowers.
這朵花是這些花中最漂亮的之一。
d. 表示“大多數，大部分的……”,用“most+名詞複數”或“most of + the/代詞+複數名詞”。
Most people like apples.大多數人喜歡蘋果。
Most of the boys are good at playing football.大部分男孩擅長踢足球。
e. “who/ which is +形容詞比較級/最高級”的用法
Who is younger, your father or your mother?
你爸爸媽媽誰更年輕。
Who is the tallest of these girls?
這些女孩中誰最高？
