在做俚語翻譯時，
英文翻譯成中文不能
按字面意思來直譯，
不然句子翻譯出來
難免會鬧出笑話來。
皮卡丘今天舉的例子就是：
Ten to one
十有八九，很有可能
one two three……從一數到十可以說是英語學習基礎中的基礎。在學會26個英文字母之前，大多人對這10個數字就已經是倒背如流了。
“ten to one”從表面上來看
是從10到1
但若要真的這樣翻
那就讓人笑掉大牙了
ten to one = something very likely，
可以翻譯成“很有可能”，
或是“十有八九”。
例句：
①Ten to one the teacher made a mistake.
很可能老師犯了一個錯誤。
②No one knows for sure how they're going to deal with this problem, but ten to one it's I who have to be responsible.
沒有人確定他們將如何處理這個問題，但很有可能我會對此負責。
那麼大家知道“From one to ten”是什麼意思呢？它是“從一到十”的意思！
例句：
Let's count out loud from one to ten.
我們來大聲地從1數到10。
