alteration
alteration的中文翻譯為“更改”,這裡指的是服裝上的縫製與修補。修補的項目有: cutting(剪)、 sewing(縫紉)、 lengthen(加長)、 shorten(縮短)及button(鈕釦)、zipper(拉鍊)的replace(更換)或fix(修理)等。有些服飾是需要專業的 alteration,這些服飾的種類有很多,如bridal(新娘禮服)、 couture(時裝)、 custom(量身訂做)、 costume(戲服)、 leather and suede(皮革)等
button
button的中文翻譯為“鈕釦”,是服飾上所附的一個小配件,能將兩個不同的部分連接在一起。button的形狀通常是 round(圓形)。button分為 natural material(天然材質)及 synthetic material(人造材質)兩種。天然材質有:wood(木製)、 metal(金屬)、 porcelain(陶瓷)及 seashell(貝殼)等。而人造材質有: plastic(塑料)及acrylic(亞克力)等。

Fix
fix是動詞,最常見的解釋是“修理;固定;安裝;安排”。例: My watch has stopped。It needs fixing. Put
