部分倒裝
1、only+狀語置於句首時，要用部分倒裝
Only by working hard can we succeed.
只有努力工作我們才能成功。
Only in this way did he learn from Tom.
只有這樣，他才能向湯姆學習。
注意：
在 only 後作狀語的是從句時，從句不要用倒裝，要部分倒裝的是主句
Only when I left my parents for Italy did I realize how much I loved them.
當我離開父母隻身前往意大利時，我才意識到我是多麼愛他們。
2、含有否定意義的副詞
not, never, hardly
seldom, barely
little 等
置於句首時，句子用部分倒裝
Never shall I forget it.
我絕不會忘記這件事。
Not a single mistake did he make.
他一個錯都沒犯。
注意
當 not only...but also...連接句子時，not only 後的句子要倒裝，但 but also 後的句子不倒裝
Not only did he speak more correctly, but he spoke more easily.
不僅他講得更正確，而且也講得更輕鬆了。
3、so+be動詞（或助動詞、情態動詞）+主語結構時，用部分倒裝
表示前面所說的情況也適用於另一個人（或物）
Your father is a teacher, so is my father.
你父親是老師，我父親也是老師。
He studies hard, so does his sister.
他學習努力，他的妹妹也是這樣。
4、neither / nor+be 動詞（或助動詞、情態動詞）+主語結構時，用部分倒裝
表示前面否定的內容也適用於另一個人（或物）
You did not do your homework, neither did I.
你沒做作業，我也沒做。
5、so / such...that 結構中，so 或 such 位於句首加強語氣時，句子用部分倒裝
So angry was he that he couldn't speak.
他如此憤怒，以致說不出話來。
6、在 if 引導的虛擬條件句中，當省略 if 時，可將 should，had，were 提到主語之前構成部分倒裝
Had it not been for your help, we would not have achieved so much.
要不是你的幫助，我們不會取得如此巨大的成績。
