參考一下國外出口商是怎麼寫開發信的才能讓開發信效果事半功倍開發信或者叫促銷信（Sales promotion letters）：
是外貿業務員在開發新客戶，或者當一種或幾種新產品進入市場後，為了讓更多客戶瞭解和進口該商品，而向進口商，批發商，零售商或者工業品的最終用戶寄送的促銷信或目錄樣本。
一般來說，寫促銷信要有下面兩個特點：
1，提供信息，溝通產品。
促銷信應以準確而簡潔的語言向客戶介紹產品的性能，用途與特點，通過信息交流，溝通外貿企業與國外進口商之間的聯繫，達到促銷的目的。
2，激發慾望，促進需求。
促銷信不但信息內容要充實，而且應該使用明快的語言，清新的體裁，清晰有吸引力的圖片，去影響和說服潛在客戶。
語言既要有吸引力，使人感到親切，又要體現信息的真實性，讓人感到可信可靠。做的圖文並茂，短小精悍。
3，出銷信發出去後，可能會得不到對方的答覆，但是外貿業務員不要抱怨，也不要氣餒。
可以再發一封“追詢信”(a Follow-up letter),詢問一下原因，並提出一些對推銷有利的新觀點和論據，最後表示希望對方能做出回應。
