“Other” 和 “another” 都可以表示 “an alternative” 可替代的另一個，或 “an additional extra” 額外的那個東西，但從語法角度來講，它們的用法卻不同。
問題中所提到的其它三個詞 “others、the others” 和 “any other” 的意思都和 “other” 相近。
那麼咱們就來先說說 “other” 的意思和用法。
“Other” 可以表示 “alternative” 可替代的，或 “different” 不同的。“Other” 是一個限定詞，所以應該被用在複數名詞前或不可數名詞前。作限定詞使用的時候，“other” 沒有複數形式。咱們先來聽兩個例句。

I like his music, but other artists are better.
The fussy child didn't eat oranges but liked other fruit.

“Other” 還可以表示 “additional” 額外的。同樣，表達這層意思的時候，它也是限定詞，只能用在複數名詞前或不可數名詞前，“other” 本身也不能是複數。來聽一個用 “other” 表示 “額外的” 意思。

下面來講 “any other”。“Any” 也是一個限定詞，常用於疑問句和否定句當中。在一組事物中做選擇的時候，“any” 通常意味著 “it doesn’t matter” 選哪個並不重要。將 “any” 的這層意思和 “other” 相結合，就得到了 “It doesn’t matter which alternative or add itional”。也就是哪種代替選擇並不重要。來聽兩個例句，例句中用 “any other” 和 “any others” 來表示 “任何選擇”。

I don't like this t-shirt. Do you have any others?

注意，我們不能把 “any” 直接和 “the other(s)” 連用。它們中間需要加介詞 “of”。
