秀山網訊 2005年10月21日，一名剛剪斷臍帶的嬰兒被好心人送到重慶市秀山縣社會福利院，被取名為“秀福多”。據說，這位好心人是住在官莊鎮官聯村（現已更名為“官莊街道官聯社區”）。
2006年，7月25日，秀福多被加拿大夫婦凱茜和特里領養，並被取名為“薩莉”（Sally）。
後來，薩莉一直與養父母在加拿大生活。
現在她13歲，會說英語和法語，學習成績優異，她很快樂，在加拿大過得很幸福。
薩莉目前最大的願望就是找到自己在中國的親生父母，希望好心人幫忙留意，助她圓夢。
Dear Sally's family in China,
We have been searching for you for the past 11 years. It was not long after I held my daughter for the first time that the feeling of her mother flooded my heart. I could feel you through Sally. Despite the distance between us, you remained close to us all these years.
Sally is a beautiful, loving person. She is an absolute blessing in our lives and I can't imagine a life without her. We love her so much. I have always raised Sally to understand the many circumstances that caused children to be separated from their family. She has never been angry or upset with her family. I want to thank you for bringing her into this world and for making sure she made it safely into the orphanage.
We hope we can finally be reunited with you. She deserves you in her life and you deserve to also know her.

Dear mother and father in China,
My name is Sally. I live in Canada now. I have an adoptive mother, father and an older brother. I also have 2 dogs and a cat.
I left China in 2006 at age 9 months and although I do not have any memories of you, I think about you often. My heart has never forgotten you. I wonder if I have any brothers and sisters? Are my grandparents still living? Are you safe and healthy? Do I look like you?
My parents said they will bring me back to China to meet you when we find you. We hope we can become one large family together. I will enjoy learning about the family and I am excited to tell you about my life.
I will keep wishing each day that we hear from you. I will never lose hope. Someday we will meet again and I hope it is very soon.
