請容我脫下防護服和麵罩
Please allow me to take off my protective clothing and mask
把我的肉身從鎧甲抽離
Take my body out of my armor
讓我靠一靠身體
Let me lean back and rest
讓我平靜呼吸
And breathe calmly
唉……
Alas...
口號是你們的
Slogans are yours
讚美是你們的
Praises are yours
宣傳、標兵，都是你們的
Propaganda and pacesetters are yours
我只是在執行崗位職責
I'm just doing my job
做一個醫者良心的拯救
To be a doctor's conscience salvation
常常，不得已赤膊上陣
Often, I have to go to battle shirtless
生和死來不及選擇
There is no time to choose between life and death
真的沒有什麼高大上的想法
I really don't have any lofty and noble ideas
請不要給我花環
Please don't give me a wreath
不要給我掌聲
Nor do I want applause
也不要什麼工傷、烈士，幾等功
Don’t mention work-related injuries, martyrs, or other meritorious service
來武漢，我不是來欣賞櫻花的
I’m not here in Wuhan to enjoy cherry blossoms
也不是來風花雪夜，接收吹捧
Nor to enjoy romantic nights and receive flattery
只想疫情結束能安全回家
I just hope to go home safely after the epidemic
即使剩下一把骨頭
Even if I have merely a handful of bones left
也要把自己帶回給兒女、爹媽
