even if 和even though都引導讓步狀語從句，但是應用的場合不同，不可混淆。
even if: 即使
even though：儘管
一個句子的對比：
I will not love you even if you give me a million. 即使你給我一百萬，我也不會愛你。
l will not love you even though you have given me a million. 即使你已經給了我一百萬，我也不會愛你。
以上例句可看成，even if連接的是假設的事，even though連接的是已經發生的事。
其它例句
Even if
I will treat you as a friend even if you betray me in the future. 即使你以後背叛我，我仍然把你當朋友。
You will not catch the plane even if you take a taxi right now. There is no time. 即使你現在打的，你也無法趕上飛機了。沒時間了。
Even though
I still treat you as a friend even though you have betrayed me. 儘管你已經背叛我了，我仍然把你當朋友。
He did not arrive the railway station on time even though he had taken a taxi. 儘管他打了的，他仍然沒有按時抵達火車站。
