(1) come to 後接名詞、數詞、代詞或不接任何，意指，談到，涉及到:

When it comes to physics, he is a complete stranger. 談到物理他完全是個外行。

(2) 表示“合計，總共”，同amount to:

How much does the bill come to？帳單上共多少錢？

(3) 表示“開始……所認識，被……所記起。”突然想起（無被動式):

In a flash, the truth came to him. 突然間，他明白了真相。

(4) 發生(在某人身上), 降臨於(某人):

Happiness will come to you as long as you are after it. 只要你追尋它幸福會降臨於你。

(5) 恢復知覺，甦醒過來:

After three hours in the hospital bed, he began to come to. 躺在醫院床上三個小時後, 他開始甦醒過來。

Those who has done evil things will come to no good end.做壞事的人不會有好下場。

A. came to be known 漸漸被知曉/稱作

come/get +動詞不定式結構 表示一種情況的變化過程，表示出“逐漸”的含義。在漢語譯文中，有時並不一定譯出來，如：

(1) She will come to be ashamed of what she has done today.總有一天她會為她今日的所作所為而感到羞愧。

(2) Soon they’re getting to have a better understanding of the problem.

他們對這一問題逐漸有了較深的理解。
