Grammar Imperatives
語法 祈使句
Imperatives祈使句使用祈使句發出命令或要求。 祈使語氣動詞與動詞原形是相同的。Use the imperative form of a verb to give commands or make requests. The imperative form is the same as the base form of a verb.
Cut the vegetables. 切青菜
Slice the bread. 把麵包切片。
Give me the vegetables. 請給我青菜。
Pass me the knife. 把刀遞給我。
在祈使句前用 don't 表達否定的命令。
Use don't in front of an imperative to give a negative command. In writing, you can use an exclamation point ( ! ) to make your statement stronger.
在寫作中,你可以在句尾用感嘆號 ( ! ),加強陳述的語氣。
Don't cut the vegetables too small.
請不要把青菜切得太小。
Don't be lazy!

Use please to make imperatives more polite. Please can come at the beginning or end of an imperative sentence. Put a comma (,) before please if you use it at the end of a sentence.
用please 發出祈使會更禮貌。please 出現在祈使句的句首或句末。如果please 置於句末,在please 之前添一個逗號(,)。
Please give me the cheese. 請把芝士給我。
Help me, please.請幫幫我。
Give me an apple, please.
