1. ____to the left , and you'll find the post office.

2. If you ___to the left , you'll find the post office.

3. ____to the left , you'll find the post office .

A. Turning B. To turn C. Turn D. Turned

A. _______(say)is easier than doing.

Saying.

B. . I t is our duty ______(try) our best to deal with these problems.

此题是考to do 做主语的情况,所以答案是to try.

Their main aim is ________(make) a difference through personal sacrifice.

aim 是提示,表目的的非谓语是用to do ,所以此题的答案是 to make.

非谓语动词作状语时,其逻辑主语是句子的主语;

非谓语动词作宾补时,其逻辑主语是宾语;

1.____from space , we can see the earth is blue .

A. Seen B. Seeing C. To see D. See

2. So far nobody has claimed the money___ in the library.

A. discovered B. to be discovered

C. discovering D. having discovered

3. Claire had her luggage______ an hour before her plane left.

A. check B. checking C. to check D. checked

1.The building ___now will be a restaurant .

2. The building ___next year will be a restaurant .

3. The building ___last year is a restaurant.

A. having built B. to be built C. being built D. built

1.Dina, ______for months to find a job as a waitress, finally took a position at a local advertising agency.

A. struggling B. struggled C. having struggled D. to struggle

2. ______ in a long queue , we waited for the store to

open to buy a New iPad.

A. Standing B. To stand C. Stood D. Stand

3. _____ the project as planned, we’ll have to work two

more hours a day.

A. Completing B. Complete C. Completed D. To complete

答案是:1.C ;2.A ; 3. D

_____ which university to attend, the girl asked her teacher for advice.

A.Not knowing B. Knowing not C. Not known D. Known not

答案是A。

judging from, generally speaking, compared to/with,

considering , given, providing/provided,

supposing ,taking everything into consideration, etc.

Generally speaking, women live longer than men.

Judging from what you say, he ought to succeed.

Considering the distance, he arrived very quickly.

Taking everything into consideration, you should leave.
