What are you doing?
I’m making a bookcase.
Give me that hammer please, Dan.

No, not that one.

Thanks, Dan.
What are you going to do now, George?
I’m going to paint it.
What colour are you going to paint it?
I’m going to paint it pink.
Pink!
This bookcase isn’t for me.
It’s for my daughter, Susan.
Pink’s her favorite colour.

二、每課一句
-What are you going to do now, George? - I'm going to paint it.
本課重點學習的是be going to do的用法。
首先要注意的是，be going to do並不是將來時，而是用來表將來的進行時，只是本課學習的是現在進行時的用法，即：am / is / are going to do。
be going to do表示“主觀打算或意圖”，而且往往是在短時間內就會去做的事情。如：
It is too hot today. I am going to have a swim in the river this afternoon.
其中，be為助動詞，所以在進行語法變形時，只要在be後面加上not就可以構成否定句，變疑問句時只要把be提前。如：
I am not going to have a swim in the river this afternoon.
Are you goingto have a swim in the river this afternoon?
When are you going to have a swim in the river?
需要注意be going to後接動詞的時候採用的是動詞原形。

注意paint的用法為：
paint + sth. + colour
表示：
把某物漆成某顏色
如：
He is going to paint the desk green.
They are going to paint the wall white.
