现实中没有了超能力和超高智商的本尼也是超级英雄一枚
据《太阳报》网站报道，本尼此前曾在伦敦街头成功从4名歹徒手中救下一位外卖小哥。当时快餐外卖公司Deliveroo的一位员工被歹徒围攻，本尼看到后从车中跳下，飞奔过去帮忙。
British actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been hailed a hero for chasing away four assailants as they mugged a cyclist in London. Cumberbatch jumped out of his Uber car and ran to the aid of the man working for food delivery company Deliveroo as he was set upon by the muggers, the Sun reported.
本尼的Uber司机Manuel Dias告诉《太阳报》：“外卖员很幸运，本尼是个超级英雄，他有胆量、勇敢又无私。如果没有他出手，外卖员可能会严重受伤。”
“The cyclist was lucky, Benedict’s a superhero,” Cumberbatch’s Uber driver Manuel Dias told the Sun. “Benedict was courageous, brave and selfless. If he hadn’t stepped in the cyclist could have been seriously injured.”
巧合的是，这起事件发生在Marylebone大街——距离贝克街不远，那里可是小说中福尔摩斯的家。
The attempted robbery took place on Marylebone High Street, just around the corner from Holmes’ fictional home on Baker Street.

伦敦警方在一份声明中表示，外卖员20多岁，当时正在送外卖。四名男子向他猛扑过来击打其面部，并试图抢夺自行车。“没有报案失窃，受害者也没有要求医疗救助，也没有逮捕任何人。”声明中写道。
In a statement, London's Metropolitan Police said a cyclist in his 20s was making a delivery when four men pounced on him and punched him in the face in an attempt to take his bike. “Nothing was reported stolen. The victim did not require hospital treatment. No arrests have been made,” the Metropolitan Police said in a statement.
Deliveroo（外卖公司）在推特上发了感谢信：
司机Dias描述了事情经过：“本尼跳出车子，跑过去把那些人拉开。歹徒注意力转到他身上，事情可能变得更严重，所以我也过去了。本尼站在那里大喊‘放开他（外卖员）’。他们试图攻击本尼但是本尼保护住了自己，把他们推开了，也没受伤。
后来我觉得歹徒们也认出了本尼就逃跑了。”Manuel Dias said:“My passenger jumped out, ran over and pulled the men away. They turned towards him and things looked like getting worse, so I joined in. He stood there instructing them in the street, shouting, ‘Leave him alone’. They tried to hit him but he defended himself and pushed them away. He wasn’t injured. Then I think they also recognised it was Benedict and ran away.”
据《太阳报》报道，这一事件发生在去年11月，只不过最近才被曝光。
The incident reportedly happened in November, but only came to light recently, according to the paper.
不过，CNN方面则表示，他们没能确认本尼是否真的卷入过类似事件，他们试图联系本尼或Uber均以失败告终。
CNN could not independently verify the incident or whether Cumberbatch was involved because police did not identify the people involved. Attempts to reach Cumberbatch and Uber were unsuccessful.
面对坏人毫无惧色，见义勇为的本尼被英国媒体大加赞赏：
