Outside确实可以表示“在外面”，但是它指you are not inside a building，也就是在房子外面，露天的环境里，因此，eat outside并不是我们常说的去外面餐厅吃饭，而是“在露天吃饭”。
Eat out才是指“外出就餐”，也可以说dine out（dine表示吃饭，进餐）。

① When Adam eats out，he often goes to the fast food restaurant.
当亚当外出就餐时，他经常去快餐店吃。

1）Out of the window
Out of the window，也可写做Out the window，一看以为是“在窗户外面”,其实是指你努力了很久做某件事，结果不知道为啥煮熟的鸭子飞出窗外飞走了，让人崩溃。

2）Out of the woods
Woods是“森林”的意思，out of the woods从字面看是“在森林外面”，想想看，在原始森林里，迷路了好可怕，心惊胆战着终于走出了森林，意味着你现在安全了。
因此，out of the woods意思就是脱离险境，脱离困境。
例句：
① When the patient got out of the woods，everyone relaxed.
当这个病人脱离生命危险后，每个人都舒了口气。
② As soon as the device becomes normal, all of us will be out of the woods.
一旦设备正常，我们所有人就都会脱离险境了。
3）Out of this world
“out of the world”你以为是“滚出这个世界”？其实是在夸你！你可以这样想，某件事物不是这个世界所能拥有的，类似“此曲只应天上有，人间难得几回闻”呐！
因此，out of this world指的是绝妙的，精彩绝伦的，简直棒极了！
例句：
① Mom，this apple pie is really out of this world.
老妈，这个苹果派简直了，太好吃了！
