Zero in on：你為什麼不試著用英語學英語？用英語理解英語？
你冷不丁問我：英語短語zero in on“什麼意思？”(你問中文還是英文？)，我當然不知道，但也不能望文生義按字面理解呀！
但是，我會去查英英字典，一，“我知道了”！
1) 查英英字典：
Verb Phrases：zero in on
1. to aim something,such as a gun,a rifle,a camera,etc. at the precise center or range of a target.
2. to aim directly at (a target).
3. to direct one's attention to;to focus/ concentrate our attention on something
4. to close in on something
5. to direct all of one's attention to (someone or something)
你可以不認識zero in on，但是，你總會認識裡面的to aim something,such as a gun,a rifle,a camera,etc. at the precise center or range of a target, to direct one's attention to; focus/concentrate our attention on something,. to close in on something這些“學過”的英語吧？
2) Put English into English英語口語訓練
1.Okay.Got it.I know what zero in on means now.
2.When we say：We zero in on somebody or something, we mean：
We aim something,such as a gun,a rifle,a camera,etc. at the precise center or range of a target.
3. We mean：
We focus/concentrate our attention on something,or somebody
4. We mean：
We close in on something or somebody.
For example,We can say：
We are zeroing in on a solution to this problem.
多強迫自己多體驗英語，用“別的學過的”英語理解要學習的英語，肯定比你總是“站在門外”，用一門外語去“學”另外一門外語好的多。
你需要訓練出這個能力，而不僅僅止步於“用中文懂得”zero in on“什麼意思”。
