啊，酒漿若是帝之所生，
誰敢把蜷屈的卷鬚咒成陷阱？
天賜的福祐，當受的可不受麼？
若是禍災——試問誰為此禍？

Why, be this Juice the growth of God, who dare
Blaspheme the twisted tendril as a Snare?
A Blessing, we should use it, should we not?
And if a Curse—why, then, Who set it there?

我若為莫須有的“來世的果報”所驚，
或為“神酒的希望”所誘，
我定要，定要斷此“生命的靈漿”
——但要等我死了的時候！
