△思路點撥

1. 句間無連詞,增加連詞。

凡是兩個句子之間沒有句號、分號,又沒有連詞時,一定是漏掉連詞了,要根據兩句之間的意義關係或邏輯關係,增加一個恰當的連詞。

2. 句間多連詞,刪除連詞。

雖然同一句子中的兩個主謂關係之間一定有連詞,但又不能多,只需一個,多了就錯了。特別是受漢語的影響,易將although /though…but(雖然……但是……), because/since /as…so (因為……所以……)連用,遇到此種情況,一般刪除後面的but, so, 以免影響一個句子的第一個單詞首字母大寫的原則。

3. 遇到連詞要考究是否用錯。

如or (表選擇), and (表順承), but (錶轉折)之間是否用錯,要根據句意的理解、前後的邏輯關係去判斷。

1. 並列連詞的誤用

(1)or與and混用。如[真題再練]1。

(3)but與although連用。如[真題再練]2。

2. 從句的引導詞的誤用

(1)誤用從句連詞。如[真題再練]5、7。

(2)誤用that來引導非限制性定語從句。如[真題再練]8。

(3)介詞誤作連詞用。如[真題再練]4,during誤作when。易混的還有表示“隨著”的介詞with與連詞when;表示“在……期間”的介詞during與連詞while。介詞一般是接名詞、代詞或動名詞作賓語,而連詞才可以連接句子。

考生備考時,以下3點仍需注意:

1. that的用法。

(1)引導名詞性從句時沒有任何意思,也不作任何句子成分,只起連接作用,因此引導賓語從句時常被省略。

(2)引導定語從句,如果不是直接在介詞後,一般可以替代which或who,但不能引導非限制性定語從句。

2. what的用法。

是連接代詞,引導名詞性從句並在從句中作主語或賓語,除表示“什麼”外,還有“所……的(the thing that)”之類的意思。

3. 牢記平行結構。

請翻譯下列連詞:

(1)或者……或者……

(2)既不……也不……

(3)不但……而且……

(4)不是……而是……

(5)不論……還是……

此外,no sooner…than, hardly…when中than與when不要用錯,有比較級sooner,才用than。
