口罩一词看似简单，但是却有各种口罩，尤其是在疫情期间，口罩是最重要的个人防护用品之一，一起来学习相关的口罩表达。
1. 口罩怎么分类？
（1） 普通的口罩face coverings/face masks
材质一般为cloth，和其它家用材料household materials；
（2） 外科医用口罩surgical masks/procedure masks/medical masks/face masks/masks
主要材质为non-woven fabrics（无纺布）；目前疫情期间，提到face masks，一般就是指这种口罩；
（3） 防污染口罩 respirators/anti-pollution masks
主要材质也是non-woven fabrics（无纺布），不过工艺及防护的级别更高；
N95 respirators/masks：A mask rated N95 filters out more than 95% of particles larger than 0.3 microns.
N95等级的口罩可过滤95%以上的直径大于0.3微米的颗粒物。
N99就是可以过滤掉99%的直径大于0.3微米的颗粒物。
2. 口罩该如何用英文表达“戴，摘，捐，囤，买空，消毒”
（1）戴口罩：wear/put on
Individuals may need to wear masks for up to 18 months.
译文：个人可能需要戴口罩长达18个月。
（2）摘口罩：remove/take off
And, if face masks do shield you from infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, is there a proper way to put them on, take them off, and discard them?
译文：如果口罩真的可以为你抵挡传染病毒，比如新冠病毒，那么佩戴、摘除，丢弃口罩有正确的方式吧？
（3）囤口罩：hoard/store
A man claiming to be infected with the coronavirus are investigated for hoarding/storing medical supplies.
译文：一名自称感染了冠状病毒的男子因囤积医疗用品正接受调查。
（4）买空口罩： buy up
As fears of a coronavirus pandemic sweep across the region, people have been buying up face masks and hand sanitizer at skyrocketing rates.
译文：该地区疫情蔓延迅速，人们的恐惧与日剧增，以惊人的速度买空口罩和洗手液。
（5）捐口罩：donate
He will donate 500,000 coronavirus testing kits and one million face masks.
译文：他将捐赠50万套冠状病毒检测包和100万个口罩。
（6） 给口罩消毒disinfect /sterilize
With the rise and spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic situation, all the masks are out of stock, or they are really hard to find. You may wonder if you can disinfect and reuse disposable masks. How to disinfect the mask without destroying its protective function?
