1. The best defence is washing your hands with soap. Ensuring after you touch common surfaces in the public, you follow up with hand washing before you touch your face.最好的防禦措施是用肥皂洗手。確保在公共場合觸摸公共表面後，在觸摸面部之前進行洗手。
------國外一直不宣傳口罩的重要性，但是國內這方面的知識已經普及了很多，希望學生在有條件的情況下，在外出時一定要戴口罩。
2. As a preventive measure, social distancing is key. The government in NL, in Canada and all over the world are constantly implementing measures to flatten the curve and put measures in place that support this. Closing public spaces, cancelling gatherings, asking employees to work at home and to only go outside if necessary.作為預防措施，社會隔離是關鍵。加拿大紐芬蘭省政府和全世界的政府一直都在不斷地制定跟實施各種措施，降低確診人數。關閉公共場所，取消集會，要求員工在家工作，必要時才外出等都是本省所提出來的相關措施。
3. We understand this is difficult and we encourage families and students to find ways to ensure they are healthy. - Both physically and mentally. The Medical Officers have suggested playing in your gardens, snowshoeing, walks near your homes, etc. 我們知道這很困難，我們鼓勵家庭和學生找到確保他們身體跟精神健康的方法。醫務人員建議居民可以在自家的花園裡玩耍、雪地上滑雪、在自家附近散步等等。
4. Schools are closed indefinitely, no information on possible reopening’s, if any at all. Grades K-9 will progress, grades 10-12 no updated plan provided yet. Once we have more on the plan for Grades 10-12, we will share it, our international students will receive the same plan as local students. It is my understanding of whatever is online or delivered via distance, it can be received by our students here in Newfoundland or their home country, should internet connections be available.
