2020年3月20日，星期五，英國正式停擺了，像眾多的歐洲國家一樣。短短的10天內，我們見證了現代社會可能頭一次如此高頻率的各國領導人電視講話。
3月11日，意大利總理朱塞佩·孔特宣佈意大利停擺。
3月16日，法國總統宣佈法國處於“戰爭狀態”。
3月19日，德國總理默克爾呼籲民眾團結起來應對“二戰以來的最嚴峻挑戰”。
3月20日，英國首相鮑里斯·約翰遜攜財政部長裡希·蘇納克宣佈英國停擺。（財相的講演堪稱精彩，甚至許多英國網民都開始認定蘇納克為下一屆首相人選）。他的講演一定不要錯過！
歐美多年的戰爭歷史上好多次因為語言和文字，所有人團結起來，共同面對困境。這些非同尋常的文字能量改變了這些國家。它讓每個聽演講的人內心充滿信息和堅定的信仰。
意大利

When this is over, and it will be over. We want to look back on this moment and remember many small acts of kindness done by us and to us.

2020年庚子年，註定是一個不尋常的一年。全球化和人性一次又一次的經受著考驗。人類面臨危機的時候都會有不同的反應，有奪路而逃的，也有停下來看看能拉誰一把的，這都是人性的不同面。
身邊有學生為大學醫院籌措防護物資的，有朋友問隔壁鄰居老人是否需要幫忙去超市購物的，有上班族統計願意接受物資捐贈醫院的，有創業者把朋友拉群相互幫助以防出現食物短缺的。
