A Man And Satyr 人与赛特
A Man and Satyr having struck up an acquaintance, sat down together to eat.
一个人与赛特偶然相识，坐在一起吃东西。
The day being wintry (寒冷的) and cold, the Man put his fingers to his mouth and blew upon them.
正值冬季，很冷，那人把手放在嘴边哈气。
"What's that for, my friend?" asked the Satyr.
“那是干吗？我的朋友。”赛特问道。
" My hands are so cold," said the Man, "I do it to warm (温暖的) them."
“我的手太冷了。”这人说：“我这样做是为了让他们暖些。”
In a little while, some hot food was placed before them, and the Man, raising the dish to his mouth (嘴巴), again blew upon it.
过了一会儿，一些热腾腾的食物摆在他们面前，那人把碟子举到嘴边又吹了起来。
Satyr asked： "And what's the meaning (含义) of that now?"
赛特问：“现在这又是什么意思呢？”
"Oh," replied the Man, "my porridge is so hot, I do it to cool it."
“哦。”那人说：“我的粥太烫了，我把它吹凉些”。
"Nay." said the Satyr, "from this moment I renounce your friendship (友谊), for I will have nothing to do with one who blows hot and cold with the same mouth."
“不。” 赛特说：“从此刻开始，我要与你绝交，因为我不想和一个反复无常的人做朋友。”
