I first went to hear a live rock concert when I was eight years old. My brother and his friends were all 36 of a heavy metal group called Black Wednesday. 我8歲那年首次聽了一場搖滾音樂會。我的哥哥和他的朋友都是一個叫做“ Black Wednesday”的“重金屬樂隊”的粉絲。當他們知道 Black Wednesday將要在我們本地演出時,他們都買了這場表演的票。然而,到最後一刻的時候,一個朋友不能去了,所以我的哥哥把票給我了。我很興奮!當我們找我們的位置時,我聽見劇院裡滿是興奮的叫喊聲。過了幾分鐘,燈光熄滅了,人們安靜下來。我只能在黑暗中些微地辨別出舞臺的位置。我的哥哥靠過來,在我的耳邊說了些什麼,但我不能聽清他到底說了什麼。第一首歌幾乎就要開始了,音樂也響起來,那聲音就像噴氣發動機那樣響亮。我能感覺到鼓的敲擊和貝司音樂帶給我身體上的震撼。

我想不起來樂隊演奏的任何歌曲(即我已經沉浸於現在的樂曲中)。我只記得我真的很享受這場表演,不希望它終止。但是最後,三場加演後,表演結束了。我們離開劇院,跌跌撞撞地走到路上。我感覺有點暈眩,就像剛從很長的夢境中醒過來。我的耳朵裡還有最後那支歌的迴響。

那次演唱會過後,我也成為了一個Black Wednesday 的粉絲,持續了幾年,直到我迷上了另一種音樂。時不時地,我還會聽他們的一首歌,我想象我又回到那第一場演唱會。
