AARhus 住宅綜合體位於丹麥第二大城市奧胡斯的新城區Ø4人造島的頂端。項目選址在海灣與港口、城市與自然交匯處進行開發，可享有得天獨厚的雙重景觀。
AARhus is located at the tip of the manmade island Ø4, in the new urban development of Aarhus Ø. The development sits at the intersection between bay and harbor, city and nature – offering spectacular views of both.
基於人造島的場地限制，綜合體的建築外圍結構擁有4 個不同高度的頂點，通過切割和抽出的方法，使內部區域變成中央庭院，外部空間呈階梯形，向兩邊延伸，形成兩個變形了的“A”字母。
Based on the artificial island's site limitation, the building's peripheral structure has four vertices of different heights. By cutting and extracting, the internal area becomes a central courtyard. The external space is stepped and extends to both sides to form two deformations. The "A" letter.
階梯式的造型使建築的每個角落都擁有不同的高度：階梯式的屋頂景觀創造出寬敞的私人露臺，為不同的樓層的住戶帶來豐富的戶外活動空間和壯麗自然景觀。
Each corner of the building peaks at various heights: a stepped roofscape creAaAteRsh ulas rge private terraces for outdoor activities at different levels.
場地：AARhus 建築位於Ø4 人造島的端點，三面環海。基於人造島的場地限制條件，建築的外圍結構擁有4 個不同高度的頂點。
PLOT: The building plot of AArhus is located on the very tip of the manmade island of Ø4 surrounded by water on three sides.
ENVELOPE: Based on the constraints of the local plan for 04, the overall envelope peaks in four different heights.
通過切割和抽出的方法，外圍結構的內部形成一箇中央庭院。在類型學的中心，兩層基座停車場隱藏在地下室停車場之外，提供了黃金地段的居民停車場在一層的外圍，運河房屋和海事分配單元圍繞著基座，積極地為周圍的街景注入新的活力。階梯狀的屋頂平臺帶來了完美的戶外空間，並且可以從所有的屋頂住宅直接進入。
COURTYARD: By carving out the center of the envelope the frame of a courtyard ypology appears.
PARKING: In the center of the typology two levels of plinth parking are hidden in addition to basement parking providing prime located resident parking.
CANAL HOUSES AND MARITIME ALLOTMENT UNITS: In the periphery of the ground floor, canal houses and maritime allotment units wraps around the plinth and contribute actively to breathe new life in to the surrounding streetscape.
RESIDENTIAL UNITS: From first floor upward, residential units are planned -all with optimal sun light conditions and magnificient views to the water harbour and city.
ROOF TERRACES: A stepped roof creates the setting for optimal elevated outdoor space With direct access from all pent-house units.

活力佈局，創新功能
富有規律的階梯式陽臺環繞在建築外沿，作為抬升的戶外空間的延伸。朝向內部庭院的較小陽臺，為每戶居住單元提供了充足的戶外空間。庭院作為AARhus 的綠色景觀中心，為居者們提供了可以種植蔬菜和果樹的共享花園，同時，也可作為舉辦社區露天宴會的場地。
As an extension of the elevated outdoor space a continuous balcony wraps around the building–only to be punctuated by smaller balconies inside the courtyard that offer ample outdoor space for all residential units. The courtyard, the green heart of AARhus, offers a shared garden for all residents to grow vegetables, fruit trees and host outdoor community dinners.
在街道層，項目的建築體為私人的沿海休閒區以及商業區提供了豐富而獨特的功能空間，支持著城市的蓬勃發展。朝向東北側的雙層住宅面向水面，可以直接通向游泳池區域。
At street level, the building offers various distinct functions of space for both private owned maritime leisure units and commercial use to support the city’s burgeoning redevelopment. Towards north-east two story canal-houses face the water, allowing direct access for a walk or a swim.
在建築的西南角是共享的社區空間，通過前方的寬闊露臺與城市空間相連接。這個多功能的空間為周邊的街道塑造了一個生動活躍的立面，同時，很好的將停車場隱藏在建築的中央基座內。
At the south-west corner a shared community space bleeds into the urban space with a large terrace in front. This multi-use space creates a lively façade towards the surrounding streets, while simultaneously covering the parking areas hidden at the central plinth of the building.
從項目的本質上看，AARhus 住宅綜合體在尊重城市文化紙上，還將丹麥第二大城市的建築環境也融入其中。同時，也為港口和城市天際線注入了新的活力。
At its essence, AARhus embraces the existing architectural legacy of Denmark’s second largest city, while also signaling a dynamic addition to the skyline of the harbor and the city.
