Major priority
工作嘛，最重要的事情就是分得清轻重缓急。
Major priority 是首要大事，secondary importance 是次要的。要在商务邮件中说明事情的重要程度，你可以这么说：
I strongly recommend double-checking all data from the research.（我强烈建议复核研究中得出的数据。）
Our major priority at this point is to figure out a way to salvage our relationship with Mr. Cranston.（目前我们的首要大事是挽回我们与克兰斯顿先生的关系。）
来，看个例子：
Dear Peter，I think the most important thing is to first ascertain the extant of the damage at the warehouse caused by the rain. Only then can we formulate an action plan to address this problem.Regards,Steve（我认为最重要的事情是先确认仓库漏雨造成的损失程度，只有这样我们才能制定解决这个问题的行动计划。）完
