注意：要与它的近义词alone区分开。

例如：
Tom stayed at home alone,but he didn't feel lonely.
汤姆一个人在家，但是他不感觉孤独。
2.instead of，一般的结构是A instead of B,意思是A代替B，是A 而不是B。
例如：
Give me the red box instead of the yellow one.把红色的盒子给我，不是那个黄色的。
