中國時間2020年4月19日凌晨2點開始，由Lady Gaga與Global Citizen聯合發起的拉力8小時的世紀全球慈善直播《One World: Together At Home》讓我們再一次見證了歷史！ 這是屬於我們這一代的LIVE AID！ 演唱會直播結束2小時後，直播平臺就公佈已募得接近1.28億美元的善款來支持全球應對新冠病毒。

上一次的橫跨大西洋的慈善演唱會（Live Aid）還是發生在1985年，目的是為了埃塞爾比亞大饑荒籌款。

精彩紛呈的演唱會雖然很快就結束了，但可能還是有人不是很清楚這場演唱會的由來以及Globle Citizen和Live Aid是什麼。那麼就讓尚恩教育的Annie老師來給大家普及一下吧！
這場慈善演唱會的意義：抗擊疫情，各國明星線上同“臺”演唱。
參加演唱會的明星名單
“Lady Gaga, who curated the line-up, called the event "a love letter to the world”.
Dedicating the show to first responders and medical staff, she said the participating musicians all wanted "to give back a little bit of the kindness that you've given us".
She went on to play an upbeat version of Charlie Chaplin's Smile, adding: "We want to get to the other side of this pandemic and we know you do too."
此次活動的組織者Lady Gaga將此次活動稱為“寫給全世界的情書”。她把演出獻給了現場急救人員和醫務人員，她說，參與演出的音樂家們都想“向你們回報你們給予我們的善意”。她接著表演了查理·卓別林(Charlie Chaplin)樂觀版的《微笑》(Smile)，並補充道:“我們希望看到這場大流行的另一面，我們知道你們也希望看到。”
通過網絡，全球的藝人們都在自宅演出,便服,私密,沒有了秀場的光芒;他們不僅是助人者,也是疫情中的被困者。

“Please protect yourselves,” “We are one family. We need you. We need your voices, your abilities and your strength all over this word. I know it’s very hard but please be patient, stay encouraged, keep the faith, stay positive and continue to pray for our heroes.”

Global Citizen是一個什麼組織？
“Global Citizen is a movement of engaged citizens who are using their collective voice to end extreme poverty by 2030. On our platform, Global Citizens learn about the systemic causes of extreme poverty, take action on those issues, and earn rewards for their actions — as part of a global community committed to lasting change.”
Lady Gaga 今年發起的這一場演出就是和Global Citizen 合作的。 Global Citizen中文翻譯叫做“世界公民”。從它的官網上可以瞭解到它，是一個全球性的公益組織，旨在鼓勵大家用實際行動支持和改變極端貧困，並爭取在2030年消除赤貧。這也是聯合國可持續發展的第一項目標。
那麼造成地區性赤貧的原因有很多，引發的社會問題也不盡相同。比如今年的疫情，使得很多的人突然失業、公司被迫宣佈倒閉，全球的經濟受到重創。根據Global Citizen 的官網信息，它還關注的社會問題包括：女權平等、醫療衛生、教育、LGBT、財政支持與技術革新、糧食、水資源和環境問題等等。

“LIVE AID” 是什麼？
“Live Aid was a dual-venue benefit concert held on Saturday 13 July 1985, as well as an ongoing music-based fund raising initiative. The original event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for relief of the ongoing Ethiopian famine”
Live Aid中文翻譯叫做拯救生命。從Wikipedia查起，Live Aid起源於1985年7月13日，名為“拯救生命”的大型搖滾樂演唱會在英國倫敦和美國費城同時舉行，這是一場橫跨多地區的搖滾音樂演唱會的偉大的演唱會。該活動是由Bob Geldof和Midge Ure發起，旨在為發生在埃塞俄比亞的饑荒籌集資金。回憶起那一年的演唱會，Bob Geldo說“這不是一次流行音樂會，也不是一次電視演出，而是對人的拯救。”

音樂是不分國界的，昨天的直播中我們看到了許多國際友人對世界的祝福。我們也要相信。困難只是一時的，人類命運共同體會有更好的未來。借用音樂會主持人之一的Stephen Colbert（斯蒂芬·科爾伯特）的話：
