今天的繪本故事沒有音頻，但是我覺得畫面和語言都很美，分享給孩子們
《Papa, please get the moon for me》爸爸，請為我摘月亮。
小茉莉很想和月亮一起玩，但她摘不到月亮，便拜託爸爸把月亮摘下來，於是，爸爸拿了一把好長好長的梯子，架在一座好高好高的山上，努力地向上爬呀爬……
這是有關愛與夢想的故事，孩子從故事情節中，不僅可以瞭解長短、高矮、大小等概念與形容詞，還能從中觀察到月亮陰晴圓缺的自然現象。
希望每一個孩子都擁有一個肯為ta摘月亮的爸爸
Before Monica went to bed she looked out of her window and saw the moon.
有一天晚上，小姑娘莫妮卡正要上床睡覺，突然，她透過窗戶看到了天上的月亮。
The moon looked so near.
看起來距離莫妮卡非常非常地近。
"I wish I could play with the moon," thought Monica, and reached for it.
“好想和月亮玩啊。”莫妮卡說著，把自己的小手向月亮伸去。
But no matter how much she stretched, she could not touch the moon.
可是，她伸啊伸啊，怎麼也都夠不到月亮。
"Papa," said Monica to her father,"Please get the moon for me."
“爸爸，你幫我把月亮摘下來好嗎？”她對爸爸撒嬌說。
Papa got a very long ladder.
於是，爸爸就找來一個好長好長的梯子。
He carried the very long ladder towards a very high mountain.
然後，爬到了一個很高很高的山上。
Then Papa put the very long ladder on top of the very high moutain.
他把長長的梯子搭在了高高的山頂上，不停地往上爬著爬著。
Up and up and up he climbed.
終於，爸爸爬到了月亮上。
Finally, Papa got to the moon,
最終，爸爸終於到達了月亮上，
"My daughter Monica would like to play with you,“
我的女兒特別想和你一起玩。
“but you are much too big" said Papa.
不過，你這麼大，我沒法帶回去啊”。他對月亮說。
"Every night I get a little smaller," said the moon.
月亮說話了：“我每天晚上都會變小一點。
"When I am just the right size you can take me with you."
等我變得差不多大小的時候，你就可以把我帶回去了。”
And, indeed, the moon got smaller and smaller and smaller.
果然，從那之後，月亮越來越小，越來越小。
When the moon was just the right size,
最終它變成可以隨身攜帶的大小，
Papa took it.
爸爸摘到月亮，拿在手中。
Down and down and down he climbed.
一點點從梯子上面爬了下來。
"Here," said Papa to Monica, "I have the moon for you."
“莫妮卡，這是你想要的月亮，給你！”
Monica jumped and danced with the moon.
莫妮卡非常地高興，她捧著月亮，和它一起蹦啊，跳啊……
She hugged the moon and threw it into the air.
時而緊緊抱著它，時而又把它高高拋起。
But the moon kept getting smaller and smaller and smaller,
月亮還是越來越小，越來越小，
and finally it disappeared altogether.
最後呼得一下消失了。
Then, one night, Monica saw a thin sliver of the moon reapear.
幾天之後，莫妮卡在天上發現了纖細的月亮。
Each night the moon grew.....
月亮每天晚上都在慢慢變大，慢慢變大……
and grew..
慢慢變大……
and grew..
慢慢變大……
