結合蟲洞而又顯自然美的木質手串（收於2017年）所謂"十檀九空"，老樹樁是很容易空的。大部分靠近樹芯的位置或者側面都有被蟲蛀過的痕跡，有很多蟲眼；一個技術好的師傅也能在這樣的基礎上進行創作，打磨出漂亮的作品。此木質手串材質堅硬，份量略輕，光滑細膩。白質黑章，深淺相間；深似黑、淺如紫似褐；木紋紋理或隱或現，或粗或細，富於變幻。
不加雕飾，突出了此手串木質本身紋理的自然美，給人以文靜、柔和的感覺。The so-called "ten sandalwood and nine empty", old tree stumps are easy to empty. Most of the positions or sides near the tree core have been wormed, with many wormholes; a skilled master can also create on this basis and polish beautiful works. The wooden hand string is hard, light and smooth. White, black, alternating in depth and light; dark like black, light like purple and brown; wood grain texture is hidden or visible, thick or thin, variable.
Without carving, it highlights the natural beauty of the wood's own texture, giving people a quiet and gentle feeling.
