Part 1

夏天的雲

寶貝兒，你看雲兒一片一片朝這邊飄過來了呢。

Sweetie, look up in the sky! Clouds are coming one by one.

好白，好胖，好鬆軟的雲啊！

The clouds are so white, so fat, so fluffy（蓬鬆的、柔軟的）！好像棉花糖一樣They look so much like big candy floss！

可惜你還不知道什麼叫棉花糖

What a pity, you have not seen any candy floss yet.

你看，那邊也有云，但是那邊的雲就不像這邊的雲又大又白又胖了，那邊的雲稀薄一些。

Look over there, the clouds there are much thinner, they are not as giant, not as white, not as fat as the clouds above our heads.

天氣好的時候，你能看到許多蓬蓬鬆鬆的像棉花糖一樣的雲朵，就像今天這樣

You see puffy, white clouds on nice days（介詞是on不是in哦）, just like today.

當你看到天上出現一片片又大又白像羽毛一樣的雲朵的時候，往往說明天氣會很好。

When you see giant, white, feathery clouds in the sky, it usually means sunny/good/nice weather.

看呀，雲朵在天上飄得好快呀。

Clouds are moving so fast! They are rolling by （都滾動起來了，那自然是很快了）in the sky!

雲朵是由小水滴或小冰碴組成的，它們緊緊地凝聚在空氣中

Clouds are made of droplets of water（小水滴）or bits of ice（小冰碴）that stick together in the air above Earth.（怕寶貝聽不懂？自己嗨就行啦）

哎呀，雲都聚在一起了，像一個個大枕頭

Clouds begin to fill the sky, like big pillows.

雲把太陽光給遮住了，那太陽光就照不到地球上了

The clouds are blocking sunlight from reaching Earth.

白雲變成烏雲了

White clouds become grey.

烏雲把太陽遮住了

Clouds hide the sun!

烏雲又走了，太陽出來了

Grey clouds are going away, the sun comes out again.

Part 2

夏天的風

起風啦

The wind comes up！

好涼爽

Theair cools off！

紅旗在風中飄

Flags are blowing！

風箏在風中飄

Kites are blowing！

樹枝在風中飄

Trees are blowing！

頭髮在風中飄

Hair is blowing！

呀，微風輕輕地吹。

The air blows in a gentle breeze.

呀，變成大風啦

It becomes a wild wind.

好大的風啊

There comes a wild wind!

風一吹，樹葉就四處飛舞，有了風，就能把風箏放得高高的

The wind makes leaves flutter and fur fly and kites soar high in the sky.

如果風停了，它們就不會隨風飄動了

When the wind goes, things are very still(靜止的、不動的).

They don't flutter（翅膀振顫、飛翔）

or blow or fly or soar（高飛、翱翔）anymore.

風是什麼呢？風就是流動的空氣

Flowing air makes wind.

空氣又是什麼呢？我們看不到空氣，也摸不到空氣，但空氣時時刻刻在我們身邊

Air is all around us! We can't see it or touch it. But air is all around us, and we all need air to breathe.

沒有空氣，鳥兒就飛不起來。

Without air, birds couldn't fly.

沒有空氣，就不會有風箏這樣的東西

There would（注意時態，不是will）

be no such thing as kites.

空氣有時會熱，有時會冷，有時涼爽，有時溫暖，有時潮溼，有時乾燥

The air may be hot（熱）or cold（冷）or cool（涼爽）or warm（溫暖）or wet（潮溼）ordry（乾燥）。

天氣是什麼呢？天氣就是外面空氣的狀態

Weather is what the air outside is like.

天氣可以很暖（warm），也可能很涼（cool），像現在就很暖，因為是夏天。天氣還可能是有風的（windy），也可能沒有風（calm），像現在就沒有風

It may be warm or cool, windy or calm。

Part 3

夏天的熱

今天好熱！

It's a very hot day!

熱屎了！

The heat!

白天的平均溫度都超過32度了！

The average daytime temperature is more than 32 °！

外面的陽光好燦爛呢

The sun is shining bright outside！

曬了一整天！

The sun shines all day!

消暑降溫有很多方法

People stay cool in many ways.

我們可以吃冰棍降溫，也可以喝加冰的水

We can have a popsicle to keep cool（降溫）

or to drink icy water to cool off（降溫）。

媽媽喜歡喝加冰的水

I like water with ice.

加了冰之後水就變涼涼的

ice makes water cold.

要想不熱就開空調吧！

Air-conditioning keeps us cool!

夏天是一年當中最熱的季節

The warmest time of year is summer！

夏天是一年中光照最長的季節

The sun shines longer in summer than in rest of the year.

夏天是休假的季節！

Summer is a time for recreation (recreationis when people play or relax rather than work)！

夏天的每一天都很熱，熱到完全不想做任何事情，對吧？我也是

Summer day is so hot. You don't feel like doing anything at all, right? Neither do I.

Part 4

夏天的雨

好幾個星期都沒下過雨了

Weeks passed without any rain.

聽到遠處的雷聲了嗎？

Do you hear the thunder far off（遠處）?

下小雨啦

The rain is falling gently.

好大的雨點啊，砸到窗戶玻璃上了

Heavy drops of water/raindrops splash against the windowpanes

（窗戶玻璃是windowpane, a piece of glass in a window）。

下雨的時候要遮雨，如果不遮雨我們的身體就會淋溼，打傘可以遮雨。

When it rains, we must keep dry under shade, such as an umbrella. If we don't use anything to keep dry, we will get wet. Umbrella keeps you dry in the rain.
