耶魯戲劇學院教授Christopher Bayes即將再度來到耶魯北京中心“探索表演的樂趣”。說起Christopher Bayes所在的
耶魯大學戲劇學院(School of Drama)，其在美國戲劇影視院校中絕對是數一數二的。在美國Hollywood Report等專業戲劇影視院校排名中，耶魯戲劇學院多年蟬聯第一。
耶魯戲劇學院是美國常青藤盟校中唯一一所戲劇學院。早在1924年，耶魯大學就創立了戲劇系。如今，耶魯戲劇學院不僅擁有表演系，還設立了包括導演、劇本創作、舞臺設計、舞臺管理等多個專業，為美國百老匯，好萊塢培養出不可計數的頂尖藝術人才。
說起耶魯大學戲劇學院的優秀畢業生，不得不提的就是好萊塢的傳奇梅麗爾·斯特里普。這位“老戲骨”共獲得奧斯卡提名19次，獲獎3次，獲得金球獎提名30次，獲獎8次。歷史上沒人比得過她。而這一切，與在耶魯大學戲劇學院的學習時光不無關聯。3年的戲劇表演研究生生涯中，梅麗爾研讀莎士比亞，分析每個角色，幾乎把莎士比亞的大部分戲劇都演了一遍，為之後的成功打下了堅實的基礎。
同樣畢業於耶魯大學戲劇學院的還有露皮塔·尼永奧(Lupita Nyong'o)。這位好萊塢後起之秀也是在耶魯戲劇學院磨鍊了三年。從發現自我、釋放潛能，到克服缺點、放大優點，都是耶魯戲劇學院給予露皮塔的寶貴經歷。如今，露皮塔已是奧斯卡最佳女配角獲獎者，在漫威的熱門電影《黑豹》中大顯身手。
作為培養“演員”而非“明星”的悠久學院，耶魯戲劇學院以其強大的教學資源而聞名於電影戲劇行業。這其中，Christopher Bayes絕對是不得不提的一位教授。基於意大利即興喜劇表演，他創造了即興表演理論。他藉助對情緒的釋放，訓練演員開拓釋放天性的空間，用音樂、節奏、身體、聲音等手段最大可能調動感官元素，像回到孩子一樣的童真世界那樣真實地宣洩情感，釋放情緒、發現自我，從而幫助演員建立真摯鮮明的創作方法與創作觀念。

The Speaker/特邀嘉賓簡介
Christopher Bayes began his theater career with the internationally acclaimed Theatre de la Jeune Lune where he worked for five years as an actor, director, composer, designer and artistic associate. In 1989 he joined the acting company of the Guthrie Theater where he appeared in over twenty productions. In New York, he has directed Servant of Two Master, Red Noses, The Bourgeois Gentleman and etc.
He has served on the faculty of Juilliard for 23 years and is currently a Professor and Head of Physical Acting at the Yale School of Drama.
Christopher Bayes自2006 年至今擔任耶魯大學戲劇學院教授。Christopher Bayes從年輕時就開始了他作為演員、導演、作曲家、設計師的藝術生涯。在幾十年的創作生涯中，在美國及全球諸多知名劇院、戲劇節上演過代表作品《愛的勝利》、《這荒謬的夢》、《大日子》、《傻瓜》、《一夜咒語》等等。2016年11月其導演的經典話劇作品《一僕二主》在紐約上演。

Discover Your Inner Clown
This is a workshop in comic acting in which we try to locate the part of you that is the most funny, playful, open and without fear. We will sing and laugh and play with complete abandon in search of your unique relationship to the comic world. We will pursue your playful self that has been buried in the polite and shy world. This is a day intensive for actors, artists, creators and even normal people who want to feel more comfortable in front of an audience. It will challenge you to make new discoveries, live more fully in your body and your voice and encourages each student to be more bold, daring and courageous in your work and life.

這將是一次喜劇式的表演探索。我們將發現你最有趣、最好玩、最開闊、最沒有恐懼的瞬間。唱歌、大笑、玩鬧、完全丟棄羞澀，都是在尋求你與表演之間的特殊關係。我們將帶你找到最真實的自我。這次研討會將是演員、藝術家、創作者乃至渴望在大眾面前更加從容的普通人的一次集中“修行”。它將使你對自己有新的認識，更加了解自己的身心，並鼓勵你在工作和生活中變得更加大膽和勇敢。
