耶鲁戏剧学院教授Christopher Bayes即将再度来到耶鲁北京中心“探索表演的乐趣”。说起Christopher Bayes所在的
耶鲁大学戏剧学院(School of Drama)，其在美国戏剧影视院校中绝对是数一数二的。在美国Hollywood Report等专业戏剧影视院校排名中，耶鲁戏剧学院多年蝉联第一。
耶鲁戏剧学院是美国常青藤盟校中唯一一所戏剧学院。早在1924年，耶鲁大学就创立了戏剧系。如今，耶鲁戏剧学院不仅拥有表演系，还设立了包括导演、剧本创作、舞台设计、舞台管理等多个专业，为美国百老汇，好莱坞培养出不可计数的顶尖艺术人才。
说起耶鲁大学戏剧学院的优秀毕业生，不得不提的就是好莱坞的传奇梅丽尔·斯特里普。这位“老戏骨”共获得奥斯卡提名19次，获奖3次，获得金球奖提名30次，获奖8次。历史上没人比得过她。而这一切，与在耶鲁大学戏剧学院的学习时光不无关联。3年的戏剧表演研究生生涯中，梅丽尔研读莎士比亚，分析每个角色，几乎把莎士比亚的大部分戏剧都演了一遍，为之后的成功打下了坚实的基础。
同样毕业于耶鲁大学戏剧学院的还有露皮塔·尼永奥(Lupita Nyong'o)。这位好莱坞后起之秀也是在耶鲁戏剧学院磨炼了三年。从发现自我、释放潜能，到克服缺点、放大优点，都是耶鲁戏剧学院给予露皮塔的宝贵经历。如今，露皮塔已是奥斯卡最佳女配角获奖者，在漫威的热门电影《黑豹》中大显身手。
作为培养“演员”而非“明星”的悠久学院，耶鲁戏剧学院以其强大的教学资源而闻名于电影戏剧行业。这其中，Christopher Bayes绝对是不得不提的一位教授。基于意大利即兴喜剧表演，他创造了即兴表演理论。他借助对情绪的释放，训练演员开拓释放天性的空间，用音乐、节奏、身体、声音等手段最大可能调动感官元素，像回到孩子一样的童真世界那样真实地宣泄情感，释放情绪、发现自我，从而帮助演员建立真挚鲜明的创作方法与创作观念。

The Speaker/特邀嘉宾简介
Christopher Bayes began his theater career with the internationally acclaimed Theatre de la Jeune Lune where he worked for five years as an actor, director, composer, designer and artistic associate. In 1989 he joined the acting company of the Guthrie Theater where he appeared in over twenty productions. In New York, he has directed Servant of Two Master, Red Noses, The Bourgeois Gentleman and etc.
He has served on the faculty of Juilliard for 23 years and is currently a Professor and Head of Physical Acting at the Yale School of Drama.
Christopher Bayes自2006 年至今担任耶鲁大学戏剧学院教授。Christopher Bayes从年轻时就开始了他作为演员、导演、作曲家、设计师的艺术生涯。在几十年的创作生涯中，在美国及全球诸多知名剧院、戏剧节上演过代表作品《爱的胜利》、《这荒谬的梦》、《大日子》、《傻瓜》、《一夜咒语》等等。2016年11月其导演的经典话剧作品《一仆二主》在纽约上演。

Discover Your Inner Clown
This is a workshop in comic acting in which we try to locate the part of you that is the most funny, playful, open and without fear. We will sing and laugh and play with complete abandon in search of your unique relationship to the comic world. We will pursue your playful self that has been buried in the polite and shy world. This is a day intensive for actors, artists, creators and even normal people who want to feel more comfortable in front of an audience. It will challenge you to make new discoveries, live more fully in your body and your voice and encourages each student to be more bold, daring and courageous in your work and life.

这将是一次喜剧式的表演探索。我们将发现你最有趣、最好玩、最开阔、最没有恐惧的瞬间。唱歌、大笑、玩闹、完全丢弃羞涩，都是在寻求你与表演之间的特殊关系。我们将带你找到最真实的自我。这次研讨会将是演员、艺术家、创作者乃至渴望在大众面前更加从容的普通人的一次集中“修行”。它将使你对自己有新的认识，更加了解自己的身心，并鼓励你在工作和生活中变得更加大胆和勇敢。
