如何用英语表达“跑题”这个概念呢？翻译成run off the topic，那就是地道的中式英语了。老师会说你上课走神啦！我们知道，无论是说话还是写作，都要围绕着一个主题，如果没有抓住主要问题，就岔开了说，就叫做跑题。
“跑题”的英语表达有很多种，我们来学习几个：

单词sidetrack 是动词，意思是“使转变话题，使转移目标”。

第二个： get off the topic 跑题，偏题

第三个：digress from the subject 偏离主题，跑题
单词digress 就是“离题”，不及物动词，后面要加from，再接名词。
Don't digress from the subject when lecturing.
讲课时不要岔开主题。
第四个：steer off topic 跑题，跑偏
单词steer意思是“驾驶，掌控方向盘”，加上off就表明“驾驶偏离方向”。
I think we are steering of topic a bit with this.
我认为我们有点偏题了。
第五个：lost sight of the point 丢掉了要点，跑题
词组lost sight of 本义是“看不见，忽略”。
I think I lost sight of the point you're trying to make.
我想我忽略了你想说的关键。
