It’s both reddit and the media honestly. Even on this show skip (which i know is typical of him) is one of the biggest diss hater and talks about how he is a stat ladder and a terrible person to play with. It’s on espn a lot too, or at least it used to be i stopped watching espn and this garbage show after last season when i realized they only did it for outrage and controversy

I think he is just a fantastic teammate. I think they mean as a teammate, as in, the erraticism of some of his decision making at times. I love Russ, he can simply dominate anyone if he eliminates mistakes and is knocking down his shot(They were supposed to take down GS KD's last year there), but in the end it comes down to consistency in decision making. as i type this i also imagine how angry and competitive this would make Russ. Sorry Russ, love you.

To me Westbrook is always outspoken about journalists trying to get him to criticize teammates or coaches. He doesn't take that shit. Seems like probably the most loyal guy in the NBA.

I thought it was quite an interesting interview from Enes. The context of this conversation was that Colin wanted confirm if Westbrook is a bad teammate, and Kanter quickly shot that idea down and started raving about how amazing of a person and teammate WB is. This story he mentions to Colin he follows up by saying "That only motivated me more".

I don't think when people say he's a bad teammate they mean it in terms of off the court since by all accounts, he's a good dude. I've only seen he's a bad teammate in an on-court context. To which, I think it's overblown.

Russ makes some really (really) bad on-court decisions sometimes and questionable play to boot BUT I think his good far outweighs his bad by about a 80-85 to 15% good/bad ratio.

Honestly, if Thunder fans didn't overreact to every single slight against Brodie I doubt that narrative would've blown up nearly as big as it did because half the time at this point are just prodding them with that to troll them.
