孩子如果唱歌走調，在6歲之前是可以通過訓練糾正過來的。如果你有一定的音樂基礎，又不想給孩子報太多的課外班，讓他太辛苦，不妨試試自己給他上聲樂課。本文以家庭聲樂課為背景，為大家介紹了聲樂相關的英文詞彙和表達。
1. You know what, mommy used to be a soprano in her college choir. Our part is called second soprano.
你知道麼，媽媽以前是校合唱團的女高音。我們聲部叫女二高。
其他聲部的爸爸媽媽可以將soprano替換為以下詞彙：alto 女中音；tenor 男高音；bass 男低音
合唱團能不能用chorus這個詞呢？Chorus和choir有如下區別：
(1) 和學校有關的合唱團通常用choir，因此這句話中的校合唱團不能翻譯為chorus
(2) 唱詩班等宗教相關的合唱團體用choir
(3) Choir規模比較小，chorus規模比較大
(4) Choir的成員都是演唱者，chorus的成員除了演唱者，還包括舞者和演員
(5) Chorus還有“副歌”的意思，指歌曲中的高潮部分，與verse（主歌）相對
注意，choir的讀音是[kwaiə]，不要讀成[kwɔir]

11. Then, let's hum the song. You go 'hmmmmm'.
